Scripture Proverbs 3:5-6 | There are a zillion distractions in our life and depending on your present circumstances hearing from God may feel like an impossibility. But there are many ways to hear from God. We have to focus on HIM …. our mind, heart, emotions, and desires ALL FOCUSED ON HIM. When we read His word we can hear from Him. When we worship Him in praise and honor, we can hear from Him. When we come before Him transparent , open, and sincere, then we can hear from Him.

Scripture Psalms 32:8 | Good relationships are built from strong communication. Being close to God means communicating with Him, telling Him what is on our hearts in prayer and hearing and understanding what he is saying back to us. Total silence is not productive. If one partner never knows what is on the other’s heart, what the other likes, dislikes, requires, or absolutely distains then it is pretty certain that the relationship will not grow and probably will dissolve quickly. God wants us to have an intimate relationship with Him. Being able to hear from God makes that possible and it is very beneficial to His people because He has all the right answers and all the grace you need to complete your assignments and make your life great!

Scripture Luke 11:28 | Hearing God is vital to the Christian. God speaks to His children in many ways, in many forms, and for many reasons. Communication is a two-way street. We complain, tell God how hard we have it, we ask for healing, money, friendships but do we ever stay in contact with God long enough to actually hear Him speak back to us.
